About the Work
Piece whose lyrics are authored by Adriana Sanabria, Cuban soprano and choral conductor who has lived in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico for several years. The lyrics express a longing to get out of the mundane world into some kind of ethereal and timeless place or stadium. The cloud therefore represents all his longing: silence, light, rebirth and recognition. However, there is the otherness of those who listen attentively to what they need to say. This music was made as part of the Project “Voces: Música Coral Veracruzana” winner of the Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA) of the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura (IVEC).
This is a work of high difficulty, it is recommended to interpret this work with a female quartet, although it can be performed by an SSAA choir. It is recommended to exaggerate nuances and the whispered and shouted sections to generate a greater impact on the audience.

Pieza cuya letra es autoría de Adriana Sanabria, soprano y directora coral cubana quien reside en Xalapa, Veracruz, México desde hace varios años. La letra expresa un anhelo por salir del mundo terrenal hacia una especie de lugar o estadío etéreo y atemporal. La nube representa por lo tanto todo su anhelo: el silencio, la luz, un renacer y reconocerse, Sin embargo existe la otredad de quien escucha atento a lo que necesita decir. Esta obra se realizó como parte del Proyecto “Voces: Música Coral Veracruzana” ganador del Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA) del Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura (IVEC).
Al ser una obra de dificultad alta se recomienda interpretar esta obra con cuarteto femenino aunque puede ser interpretada por un coro SSAA, se recomienda exagerar matices y las secciones susurradas y gritadas para generar un mayor impacto en la audiencia.
